Who can use Afterparty Game

Afterparty Game is full of adult imagery, language, and grown-up themes. You need to be at least 18, and old enough to look at this sort of thing where you live, to download or play it. Creating an account or installing the demo or the game is you telling us you clear that bar. If you don't, this isn't the party for you yet.

Your account

Your account is yours to look after. Keep your password to yourself, don't hand the keys to anyone else, and don't use it to pass restricted content along. If you think someone else has wandered into your account, tell us and we'll help you lock it back down. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

The demo and the game

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and play Afterparty Game for your own enjoyment. The demo is free for anyone who meets the age requirement; the full game and the ongoing builds come through the supporter tiers below.

That license is for playing, not for reselling. Don't sell, rent, sub-license, repackage, or publicly redistribute the game or its files. Streaming, recording, and sharing your own playthroughs is welcome and encouraged, as long as you stay within the rules of wherever you're posting.

Supporting the project and payments

Paid access to the full game and to in-development builds runs through Patreon. Patreon handles the actual payment, so your pledge is also subject to Patreon's own terms. Your access to supporter builds rides on your active pledge: when the pledge ends, access to new supporter-only builds ends with it.

Because this is a digital product you get hold of right away, pledges are generally non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. If a payment or your access goes sideways, email us and we'll try to make it right.

Work in progress

Afterparty Game is in active development, and it shows. Features, content, story, characters, system requirements, and release timing can all change, and builds may be buggy or unstable. Roadmap dates are targets, not promises. We may add, change, or remove parts of the game or the service as we go.

Acceptable use

Don't use the game, the launcher, our website, or our community spaces to break the law, harass anyone, or mess with how any of it works. Don't try to slip past payment or access controls, and don't pass supporter builds to people who haven't chipped in. The game's data is currently unencrypted and tinker-friendly if you're the curious type, but poking around doesn't give you any right to redistribute it.

Ownership

Afterparty Game, including its art, writing, characters, music, code, and the Afterparty name and logo, belongs to Tiny Meat Games and its contributors. These terms don't hand any of that to you beyond the limited license to play above.

Anything you make and share with us or the community, like fan art, feedback, or bug reports, stays yours. By sharing it in our spaces you let us use feedback and bug reports to make the game better, and show off fan creations with credit.

No warranty

Afterparty Game and the launcher come "as is", without warranties of any kind. We can't promise the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfect for what you have in mind. You install and play at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tiny Meat Games isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that come out of your use of the game or the service. Nothing here limits any rights you have that can't be signed away.

Ending access

You can walk away whenever you like and close your account by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the project grows up. When something meaningful changes, we'll update this page. Keep using the game after a change and that counts as accepting the new terms.
